An interesting tree shape full of rustic charm is a phrase used when selecting garden trees, meaning a tree shape that feels natural and comes alive in the garden. This wild-collected Enkianthus is exactly like that.

Enkianthus, said to have the most beautiful Momiji among the Ericaceae family. It's a tree that has been loved as a garden tree for a long time. It's said to have gotten its name because its appearance resembles the yui-dōdai (a type of lamp) used in olden times. You can tell it has been loved for a long time.

What's captivating is the beauty of its fresh green before the Momiji. It's a stunning, eye-opening yellow-green. It's truly vibrant with no impurities. Then, eventually, white bell-shaped flowers will bloom, scattering like they're sprinkled, covering the fresh green. They are very cute flowers ( ^ω^ ).
And the climax is the Momiji! It's a magnificent Momiji that the word deep red truly suits. In partial shade, it will have a gradient from orange to yellow.
While skillfully utilizing the interesting tree shape unique to wild-collected specimens is a testament to a gardener's skill, simply incorporating good items like this can surprisingly create a more refined atmosphere ( ???).

It thrives best in partial shade south of Tohoku, and even in full sun, it will grow vigorously if planted alongside other trees to create shade at its base.
This is a masterpiece. Don't miss out!
