Uncarved Stone Seal Material, Set of 2, for Seal Engraving, Calligraphy, and Signature Seals, 1.7cm Square, Antique Chinese Seal Material

This is a set of two antique Chinese stone seals.
I am listing them as I am organizing my grandfather's belongings.

Both are simple, uncarved, and undecorated seals, with an easy-to-handle size of approximately 1.7cm square (about 5.5 bu).

I believe this is a good size for use as a seal for calligraphy or sumi-e paintings, or as practice material for seal carving.

The stone has a calm, dark to marble-like texture, giving it a unique, understated atmosphere characteristic of old Chinese seals.
They have been stored unused, but as they are old items, they show scuffs, small scratches, and dings on the corners due to age and storage. Please check the images carefully for their condition.
(There are no major cracks or chips that would interfere with carving.)

While I have not had them professionally appraised, I believe they are a type of common Chinese stone.

Please only purchase if you understand that these are old seals intended for practical use and practice.

[Size and Weight]
① Approx. 1.7cm x 1.7cm x Height 1.8cm / Approx. 15.8g
② Approx. 1.7cm x 1.7cm x Height 2.2cm / Approx. 18.1g
*Please forgive any slight errors due to amateur measurements.

These are simple, plain types without decorative carvings (鈕), making them easy to handle for those who want to enjoy seal carving freely.

Recommended for those who like calligraphy tools, the Four Treasures of the Study, Chinese antiques, or seal carving tools, and for those who want to create their own seals for paintings or calligraphy.

Please only purchase if you understand these are old stored items.
Please check the images carefully for the condition and purchase only if you are satisfied.

They will be carefully packed with cushioning material and shipped.
Thank you for your consideration.
