Pure Copper Tamagoyaki Pan with Wooden Handle - Made in Niigata Prefecture
This is a tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet) frying pan made of pure copper from Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture.
[Size]
Approximately 14 x 18.5 x 3 cm
Handle length: Approximately 18 cm
Weight: Approximately 670g
I purchased this for around 18,000 yen at Mitsukoshi about 6 years ago.
I don't remember the manufacturer's name, but it is made in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture.
Due to its high thermal conductivity, you don't have to worry about it burning like stainless steel, and it results in a fluffy finish.
It is not compatible with IH cooktops.
I used it for about a year for bento lunches, and after that, it has been stored at home.
I occasionally cleaned it with salt and vinegar, but due to the nature of copper, discoloration is visible.
Please understand that this is a home-stored item and not a perfect product.
