T*A様 Rare Traditional Craftsman Satoshi Saji Chinese Cleaver
Thank you for viewing.
This is a Chinese cleaver made by traditional craftsman Takeshi Saji.
I personally visited Mr. Saji's workshop about 10 years ago and commissioned this Chinese cleaver.
Takeshi Saji retired from active duty around 2024, and his apprentices are now making knives as blacksmiths.
Works by Takeshi Saji are now rare and will be difficult to obtain in the future.
Hand-forged Damascus Gale V10 Steel Chinese Cleaver
This is a work by Takeshi Saji, a traditional craftsman from Echizen.
He is highly regarded by knife enthusiasts not only in Japan but also worldwide for his excellent forging techniques and outstanding aesthetic sense.
It uses V10 steel, a high-grade material among stainless steel alloys, which is well-suited for knives.
It is highly resistant to rust, and its sharpness lasts long due to the high hardness of the heat treatment.
It is made by forging V10 steel.
Please enjoy the collaboration of the craftsman's outstanding skill and excellent steel.
The Damascus pattern is three-dimensional.
A unique aura is conveyed through the pattern.
The handle is made of Desert Ironwood, also known as the Jewel of the Desert.
This is a top-quality piece as a kitchen knife.
Please consider this opportunity.
It also holds high value as a future collectible.
It is currently being sold on Rakuten for around 250,000 yen.
