This nipper is specialized for gate cutting, pursuing the ultimate cut surface.
When you slice through a runner of about Φ3mm, the blade glides through smoothly, finishing the cut almost silently.
Its sharpness allows for a smooth cut surface, similar to what you'd get with a design knife, minimizing plastic whitening (the phenomenon where the cut surface turns white).
Compared to general nippers, the cut marks are significantly cleaner, making it recommended for those who want to complete their plastic models without painting.
