By turning the dial on the main unit, you can adjust the slice thickness. It offers 11 levels of thickness adjustment, down to 0.3mm.
It has a safety position where the gap in the blade disappears, allowing for safe cleaning.

A hand guard is also included for comfortably slicing smaller vegetables. It is designed to prevent your hands from directly touching the blade.
