Bottle Opener Nambu Ironware
Thank you for looking.
Bottle Opener Nanbu
Found in my parents' kitchen.
This is a simple and cute metal bottle opener featuring a child in a kimono.
Nanbu is engraved on the back.
This is believed to refer to Nanbu ironware (Nanbu Tekki), a traditional craft from Iwate Prefecture (around Morioka City).
The year of purchase is unknown.
I have washed it clean and am listing it for sale.

Subjectively, the size and weight fit comfortably in the hand. It has the charm of an old tool that you won't find in new items. It can also be used as a paperweight.
