This is one professional-grade emery board, short type. It's a disposable mini emery board also recommended for foot care.

*New products often have burrs and small splinters on the edges, which can scratch the skin if used as is. Therefore, we will deliver a product that has been smoothed with a dedicated file for tool maintenance (sterilized with ethanol spray before packaging).*

Although it is a disposable product, I use it on my own child from when they were a newborn. [See photos 2 and 3]
The usage frequency was about once every 3-4 days when they were a newborn, and once every 1-2 weeks thereafter. I disinfected it with disinfectant spray or gel every time I used it as a newborn, but the file itself showed no damage and could still be used.

◇Size◇
Approximately 11.5cm

◇How to Use◇
① Shape the length and form with the side without numbers.
② Smooth the cut surface with the side with numbers.
③ For the final finish, filing in one direction will make the surface smoother.
Tip: Hold the tip of the file and use your other hand to lower the skin of your finger, then insert the file diagonally between the nail and skin. Longer strokes will remove more material and save time.

Babies have soft nails, so it may be a little difficult until you get used to it, but it's easier to use than scissors and you don't have to worry about accidentally cutting their fingers, so it's safe! ☺︎

◇Care Instructions◇
Remove filings stuck in the grooves with a toothbrush or similar tool, spray with disinfectant gel or spray, and allow to dry completely.

Since it's disposable, it's also great for stocking up.
It's thinner and fits better between the finger and nail than glass files, making it easier to file. The black color makes it easy to see filings and gauge when maintenance is needed.
