How to use

Typical volumizing products use drying ingredients (alcohols, salts, drying resins) to dry out and force open the outer cuticle layer that protects the hair. When the cuticle is roughened and lifted, hair strands don't lie flat, creating the effect of fluffy, voluminous hair. However, opening the cuticle is highly damaging, causing dehydration, frizz, and brittleness. Xtra Large uses a brand new volumizing technology. A lightweight yet bulky polymer blend (enhanced with BAMBOO to strengthen strands) keeps the essential cuticle layer smooth, intact, and hydrated while mimicking a lifted outer cuticle layer.
