The Solaris/200 is a pendant light that combines a glass globe made by mouth-blowing with brass. Molten glass from a furnace at approximately 1300 degrees Celsius is wound around a pipe and shaped by blowing. By varying the thickness of parts of the glass, it appears as if water is pooled, and the expression of the glass changes depending on the viewing angle. Each glass globe is carefully crafted one by one, resulting in a unique texture that can only be achieved through mouth-blowing.
