This is a premium fermented substrate made from 100% oak sawdust, which has been found to be most effective for rhinoceros beetles through years of research, using the highest quality new Himalayan Oyster Mushroom spawn.
We've added several special amino acids and bacterial agents that promote the growth of Japanese rhinoceros beetle larvae.
By incorporating bacteria, the symbiotic microorganisms within the digestive tract become more active in breaking down cellulose and other protein sources, leading to improved nutrient absorption.
Feeding this from the early larval stages contributes to larger adult sizes.
