This is straw harvested in October of Reiwa 6 (2024) from Hinohikari rice. It was dried by basking in the sun on a drying rack and then carefully threshed.

We grew it ourselves with love, from planting to harvesting, as a family, using no pesticides.
☆☆This is now rare, pesticide-free rice straw.☆☆

■We will pack as much as possible into a Nekoposu size box.
Length: Approximately 28cm

■ Can be used for mulching home gardens, composting, preservation, and as mulch.
■ Can be used for pet bedding, animal bedding, animal feed, crafts, shimenawa (sacred ropes), and various other crafting purposes.

■ Since it is pesticide-free, it can also be used for seared bonito (katsuo no tataki).
■ Medaka (killifish) spawning and overwintering.
■ Natto making.
