Made from naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a standard type and a 6mm mesh wire screen. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, or other tools. The top is constructed with plywood featuring slits, allowing for protection against wax moths, Acarapis woodi (bee mites), and the placement of a winter food box. To prevent comb collapse, four metal rods are included. Usage instructions are detailed in the accompanying letter along with bee-attracting know-how.
