This is a Japanese-style ceiling light from over 50 years ago.
With its Showa retro design, it would be perfect as an accent piece for a Japanese-style shop or room.
It's a National brand, hanging type, designed for two 30W round fluorescent bulbs. There is no mechanism to switch between the night light, one bulb, or two bulbs; both bulbs turn on when powered.
The dimensions are approximately 34 cm square and 20 cm thick.
The connection has been replaced with a standard outlet plug. Additionally, the connector for the fluorescent bulbs is cracked due to age and has been repaired with electrical tape. It was in use until recently, but there is a risk of electrical leakage, so we cannot guarantee its safety as an electrical appliance.
