We are dismantling my parents' home, which was built 40 years ago. It was a house built by a carpenter and craftsmen who were acquaintances, not by a manufacturer, with our specific requests.
I am listing these items because I feel it would be a shame to discard the doors and fittings from the Japanese-style rooms and tea rooms that my mother-in-law cherished.
I have heard that it is becoming difficult to create new shoji doors and fusuma (sliding doors). I would be grateful if someone could consider taking them and continuing to use them.

The calligraphy and tea ceremony tools I am also selling were also used by my mother-in-law, and I am grateful that they can be used by others.
I hope that the items I cannot keep and the Japanese-style rooms and tea rooms that could not be preserved in their original form will be used somewhere.
