This is a masterpiece based on vintage items from around the 1960s, with a pop yet elegant feel, further enhanced with thicker canvas fabric!
This is a special order Lightning newspaper bag released in the summer of 2023, which was very popular. The project began when we found a rare vintage bag with patch pockets on the sides. We then created this special order by incorporating those details and making minor adjustments.
This is the second installment. As you can see, it features a two-tone specification with an outstanding vintage feel!
The material used is approximately 19oz (No. 6) thick canvas, thicker than the first installment, in a natural (unbleached) x orange two-tone specification. As we introduced last time, a major appeal was its ability to age and develop a faded look similar to vintage items due to strong sunlight. This time, while retaining that element, we have emphasized the vintage appearance in the design. The orange part will fade, and the natural part will become dull with friction, creating an attractive, vintage-like texture overall.
The adjustable strap, designed with cycling in mind, is still present. We specially ordered adjustment hardware for the wide strap, approximately 6.5cm wide, allowing for a perfect fit to your body. Additionally, the side patch pockets are large enough to hold a 500ml plastic bottle, making them very practical.
