This is a reinforced, light blue whetstone with a hardness specifically for final finishing.
It surprisingly glides well, and I can achieve a jet-black polish without using a nagura stone.
It also has good grinding power, resulting in a mirror-like finish with a sharp edge.
There is a chip on the back, so please secure it firmly before sharpening.
The areas other than the sharpening surface have been protected.
