Weight: 1570g
*Please note that there may be slight variations. Thank you for your understanding.
I am selling this whetstone as I have accumulated too many.
It is in near-unused condition, with only a test sharpening that did not remove the stamp.
This stone is also very characteristic of Nisho-zan, neither too soft nor too hard,
making it easy to use for a quick sharpening.
A wild piece with plenty of skin left.
It will surely look great if you treat it with cashew lacquer.
The feel of use is medium to slightly hard, and it produces good mud without needing nagura.
The streaks are hardly noticeable.
There is a protrusion on the bottom that causes it to wobble, so please take measures such as attaching it to wood, flattening the surface, or placing a cloth underneath when using it.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about the condition.
Thank you for your consideration.
