Sweat and dirt prevention cover for Wakesa (Buddhist stole).

Wakesa are often made of pure silk or woven fabric.
When wearing a Wakesa over a collarless shirt like a T-shirt or sweatshirt, sweat stains and dirt can be a concern.
Also, woven fabric can feel scratchy against the neck, so I used to wrap a hand towel around it, but it looked a bit unfashionable (lol).
Commercial covers were only made of vinyl, so I made this one by hand.

Great for sweat protection in summer and warmth in winter, usable year-round.

As of April 2026, there are no commercially available products.

The color of the towel in photos 1-3, shown attached to a Wakesa, is closest to the actual color.
The snap color will be lighter than the towel, as shown in photos 4-5.
