This is a collaborative design project between Takahiro Miyashita, the designer of Soloist, and Kazuki Kuraishi, who has been involved in projects with A BATHING APE, adidas, Burton, CLOT, THE NORTH FACE, and others.
Miyashita handled the design and material selection, while Kuraishi was responsible for incorporating advanced and functional materials and usage into the design. The products are characterized by useful wear that fully leverages the strengths of both designers.
Each item is infused with a new spirit by merging basic outerwear with cutting-edge materials. They are packed with high-spec features down to the finest details.
This 2-way coat features a lightweight wool fabric laminated with the high-performance material DiAPLEX. The length can be adjusted by folding up the hem and fastening the zip, transforming it into a short length. It combines both design and functionality.
DiAPLEX's most notable feature is its ability to change moisture permeability based on temperature. The DiAPLEX membrane itself senses the temperature inside the garment. When it's hot, it promotes moisture permeability to prevent stuffiness, and when it's cold, it reduces moisture permeability to prevent body temperature loss, thereby controlling the inside of the garment. It always maintains a comfortable environment.
In addition to high performance such as waterproof, breathable, low condensation, lightweight, water-repellent, and durable properties, it also provides a high level of barrier performance to protect against splashes, bodily fluids, and blood. Since it is fundamentally non-porous, it also prevents the passage of viruses.
The front features both buttons and a zip to prevent cold air from entering. The zip is water-repellent, and the zip head is adorned with a key charm, the brand's trademark.
This is a duffle coat that fuses a classical style and materials with modern technology and high-tech fabrics.
