Description
This is a creamer, water pitcher, decanter, and pitcher from Kogenta ware, Sakamoto Kougama, a kiln that stubbornly preserves traditional methods in the beautiful mountains of Oita.
The unique glaze application, fired in a climbing kiln, is beautiful. Although small, it is a wonderful ceramic that has a presence when used as a vase or an objet d'art.
This kiln was also influenced by the renowned British artist Bernard Leach.
The condition is that it has been a home collection, almost unused for practical purposes, and has no damage that detracts from its atmosphere.
It is a tasteful ceramic that can be displayed on a sideboard or, of course, used practically as a creamer.
This is a rare ceramic with a relatively small production volume.
