This is humus made from fallen leaves and branches collected from the mountains, cultivated with time and care.

Mountain plants grow strong at their own pace, without the need for fertilizer or excessive maintenance. This is because the microorganisms and natural cycles within the soil quietly support them.

The soil is collected from a carefully managed environment on private land in the northern part of Okinawa. Due to the uplifted terrain, it naturally contains components such as Ryukyu limestone and shells.

Within our property, we cultivate fruit trees and herbs without using pesticides or herbicides, valuing the natural environment.

This soil allows you to experience firsthand the natural mechanisms where plants grow with their inherent strength, without needing excessive input.

It can also be used as soil for growing herbs and plants in small pots and planters. We hope you enjoy the feeling of growing plants that thrive even without over-tending.

The soil contains microorganisms (such as fungi) nurtured in nature. You may see white mycelium (filamentous fungi) as shown in the photo; this is a natural process of slowly decomposing organic matter and conditioning the soil.
