Description
■ Product Details
This is a Zisha (purple clay) teapot with a unique square shape and a powerful seal script inscription.
It is a truly impressive piece that harmonizes the beauty of the linear Hoko (square teapot) style with a calm texture developed over time.
Signature/Trade Name: **Koki** is found inside the lid, and a finely crafted square seal is on the bottom. Koki is one of the Zisha trade names (workshop names) seen from the late Qing to early Republic of China period, characterized by the meticulous craftsmanship typical of that era.
Design: This is a Kantaku (ancient bell) style teapot. The lid knob and handle also have a unique, angular style that unifies the design.
Decoration: Ancient seal script characters are deeply carved into the body, exuding a scholarly elegance.
Interior: The base of the spout is a multi-hole (flat mesh) strainer.
