----------------------------------------

This is an elegant and warm Kagami Mochi decoration carefully crafted with chirimen (crepe fabric) crafts.
It is an auspicious item that has been cherished and displayed every year as an offering to welcome the Toshigami-sama (New Year's deity) during the New Year's season.

The round shape of the Kagami Mochi symbolizes harmony, and the two-tiered stacking symbolizes layer upon layer, conveying the wish for a harmonious and long life.

The daidai (bitter orange) is an auspicious item that symbolizes the prosperity and longevity of family generations, as it bears fruit year after year without dropping its fruit.
The kushi-gaki (skewered persimmons) is associated with kaki (persimmon), meaning to invite and gather happiness.
The gohei (paper streamers) represents warding off evil and praying for prosperity, and
the shrimp symbolizes the wish to live a long life until one's back bends.

These are handmade crafts made one by one in Kyoto, and there are individual differences in expressions and patterns.
This is an item that allows you to feel a gentle and simple warmth that cannot be found in mass-produced products.
