■ Effects of Use

This oil cake pellet is primarily used for nitrogen fertilization. It is also commonly used in organic farming, flower and vegetable gardening, and lawn care. It is an ideal organic fertilizer that can be expected to improve soil conditions, making it an excellent material for producing safe, secure, and high-quality crops.

The surfactant effect of saponins contained in camellia seeds is expected to improve soil quality.

■ How to Use

Mix into the soil as a base or top dressing.

For gardens (approx. 33 sq. meters): 2kg - 5kg per planting, twice a year (spring and autumn).
For vegetables and fruit-bearing vegetables: 100-150g per plant, 2-3 times during the growth period.
Per 10 ares (approx. 300 tsubo): 40kg - 100kg (2-5 bags of 20kg each) per planting, twice a year (spring and autumn).
For fruit tree seedlings and ornamental tree seedlings: 100-250g per seedling, applied around the base 3 times a year.
For fruit trees: 500g, approximately 3 times a year.

*Apply smaller amounts more frequently.
*Camellia oil cake pellets are unfermented products, so applying a large amount at once may damage the roots.

■ About Saponins

Saponins are natural surfactants found in soaps and other products. In Japan, since the Heian period, people used to crush the fruits of plants like soapberry, gleditsia, and tea (which are related to camellia) and dissolve them in water to use as shampoo. While harmless to humans, they are toxic to insects, fish, and mollusks as they interfere with respiration. Please be careful to prevent them from flowing into ponds, lakes, or rivers when using this product.

Natural saponins decompose easily when exposed to ultraviolet light. Saponins dissolved in water will decompose in 2-3 days, losing their toxicity to fish.

■ Precautions

? Do not use in rice paddies as it may cause fish toxicity due to runoff, which has been pointed out as a problem when used to control jumbo snails.

*After opening the 10kg bag, it will be repackaged into smaller portions using zip-lock bags.
