Title: Bamboo and Sparrows

128cm (H) x 64.5cm (W)
No noticeable stains, in good condition.

This hanging scroll, Bamboo and Sparrows, features an impressive depiction of a bamboo forest rendered in a calm atmosphere, with charming sparrows perched within.
Bamboo, symbolizing growth and prosperity due to its straight upward growth, and sparrows, traditionally cherished as auspicious motifs representing domestic safety and prosperity of descendants.
Bamboo and Sparrows is known as an auspicious combination and is also a formal design that evokes the Bamboo and Sasa Leaves with Sparrows family crest associated with Kenshin Uesugi and Masamune Date.
The tranquility of the bamboo and the soft coloring of the sparrows are beautiful, making it recommended for creating an atmosphere in Japanese-style rooms or alcoves.
The shorter length makes it an easy-to-display size.

This item was passed down from my grandfather, who was a collector.
I plan to list them little by little as I have many.
