Description
Found this at my parents' house. A very charming, retro, single-serving donabe (earthenware pot). It was stored away without being used, so it's in beautiful condition. Please see the 3rd photo; a different size is currently being sold on Amazon. This donabe, made by the Hyōbei kiln in Arita ware, features a retro design with floral and arabesque patterns. It's made of ceramic and has traditional paintings of arabesque patterns on the lid. It's suitable for direct heat and comes in sizes for one to several people, making it ideal for hot pot dishes and steamed meals. There don't seem to be any major damages to mention, but I'd appreciate your understanding of it being stored at home. With the lid removed, the mouth diameter is approximately 18.8cm and the height is approximately 5.6cm.
