For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

Since we do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, we have received many happy comments that the hardness and chewability are different from other products ?

Please consider the size in consultation with your dog, taking into account the size of their mouth, the size of their current toys, and their chewing strength.
If the size is correct, they can enjoy it for 1 month to several years! ?
For teething periods and for male Japanese dogs with strong chewing power, a thickness that they can barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters sticking out, and the wood chips after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed as it is fruit wood.
These pear branches are peeled one by one from Niigata prefecture and naturally dried for over 2 years.

As these are amateur handmade products, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branch parts are sanded with a belt sander (sandpaper), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no danger of injuring their mouths, but please let them play within your sight.
Please refrain from use if your pet has fruit allergies.
