For pets in the nipping phase, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a thickness that they can just barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.
Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
The bark was peeled off one by one from pear wood branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is made of wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouths, but please allow your pet to play within your sight.
Please refrain from using if your pet has fruit allergies.
Please do not use for purposes other than chewing.
