For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

Since we do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, many customers have given us positive feedback about the hardness and how much their pets enjoy chewing on them, saying they are different from other products ?

Please consider the size in consultation with your dog, taking into account the size of their mouth, the size of their current toys, and their chewing strength.
If the size is correct, they can enjoy it for 1 month to several years!
For dogs in the nipping stage and strong chewers like Japanese male dogs, a thickness that they can just barely grip will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so even if swallowed, they are harmless as it is fruit tree wood.
These pear branches are from Niigata Prefecture, individually peeled and naturally dried for over 2 years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (sandpaper), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouths, but please ensure they play under your supervision.
Please refrain from purchasing if your dog has fruit tree allergies.
