The Canon HDU-1 is a handle unit designed to enhance audio recording and infrared shooting for professional video cameras. It is particularly recommended as an accessory for users of the XA series (such as XA20, XA25, XA30, XA35, XA40) who want to expand their video production capabilities.

1. Professional Audio Recording Capabilities

The HDU-1 is equipped with two XLR input terminals, allowing connection to external microphones and mixers. This enables high-quality audio recording for interviews, live events, and more.

2. Infrared Shooting Support

It features a built-in infrared light, enabling bright and clear video recording even in low-light or nighttime conditions. The infrared shooting mode allows for monochrome or green-tinted visual expressions, making it ideal for documentaries, nature observation, and similar applications.

3. Improved Operability

The HDU-1 includes record start/stop buttons and a zoom lever, providing comfortable operation even when shooting from low or high angles.

The HDU-1 is compatible with the following models:
• XA20
• XA25
• XA30
• XA35
• XA40
• XA11
• XA15
