CONN Helleberg Mouthpiece
99.00 $
Description
This mouthpiece, with its incredibly long history, is said to be the best-selling in the world and represents the American style. Named after Auguste Herber, one of the earliest prominent tuba players in America, this model captivated artists across the nation with its soft, dark tone and excellent breathability, significantly influencing the American tuba sound.
In the past few decades, as information has become globally accessible, not only the Herber model but also mouthpieces developed based on this model have spread worldwide, not just in North America. They are widely used by everyone from top professionals to hobbyists.
Two types are available: the Helleberg, featuring a deep cup and large inner rim diameter, and the 7B, which is slightly more compact for enhanced versatility.
