Yamaha Upright Piano, Jacaranda Wood, E-501, Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture

This is a piano with unique features.
Feature 1: This model is an upright piano that can also function as a digital piano. It is designed to produce a softer sound than a regular upright piano, partly by reducing the number of piano strings.
The electronic components are no longer functional due to a malfunction. However, as it is an older digital piano, the sound quality would likely be poor even if repaired.
It can be used as a regular upright piano with a softer sound.

Feature 2: Both the exterior of the piano and the bench are made of extremely high-grade Jacaranda wood. It is said that dealers sometimes purchase these pianos even if the piano itself is unusable, in order to salvage the wood. However, since pianos are not typically made from a single piece of wood, it is likely made of plywood.
