SONOBE Steelpan ❣️ 15 notes ‼️ What a magical sound ❓ It sounds nostalgic... ❣️

Description
My interest was sparked when I saw it on TV quite some time ago.
It's an instrument born in Trinidad and Tobago.
It seems to have originated in the 1930s when Black people, lacking money, would hit oil drums to make sounds.
It appears to have become a musical instrument through the process of hitting and stretching the bottom of the oil drum to create musical scales.
It's actively used in local Trinidad and Tobago music, jazz-pop, and even in classical music, often appearing in Latin American music.
The sound resonates well with overtones, and you can enjoy a pleasant resonance similar to Gamelan music.
You can probably find videos on YouTube by searching for Steelpan or Moorliever.
It's a bit tricky to get a handle on the sound quickly, but it's quite enjoyable.
This is from a reputable manufacturer, but I feel there are some slight inconsistencies in the volume of the notes.
It comes with two small mallets each, for a total of four.
I recall it costing around ¥50,000 to ¥60,000 or more.
It's quite bulky (it will be delivered in its original box, so using Mercari's eco-friendly shipping would be a great help, thank you in advance).
Size: Approximately 35cm diameter x 18cm height
