The joint utilizes a Super Flex Joint, which combines the advantages of put-over (reverse ferrule) and spigot (male-female ferrule) joints. Double reinforcement ensures sufficient strength and resistance to loosening.
The extension butt is detachable (screw-on) and can be replaced with a rubber end cap or the 4-inch Altmore Custom Spey Handle (total length 100mm, weight 38g). It can also be used as a switch rod for two-hand casting.
