Red water buffalo plectrums often have beautiful mixed colors of brown and white, unlike black water buffalo plectrums.
Some people call it Dutch water buffalo, but since there are no water buffalo in the Netherlands, it seems to be a remnant of when imported goods were referred to as Dutch.
We are using the term red water buffalo as we feel it is a more appropriate description.
