About 10 years ago, I saw a medium-sized plectrum made of the same material at a Sanshin shop in Okinawa for 85,000 yen, but it was already sold or is no longer available.
As far as I could find through online searches, there are no finished products made of the same material being sold.
This is a considerably rare item.
I purchased this plectrum, which was made by a Sanshin craftsman, after pooling funds with several others to buy materials from an antique shop.
It has a substantial weight and is easy to keep tempo with.
