Description
DAIWA Sea-Line NO.24. Operation (rotation, clutch, click sound, drag adjustment) confirmed. Few scratches, etc., clean.

This reel was released in 1972 by Daiwa Seiko as their first star drag baitcasting reel.
This is the first model, the SEALINE No.24 Memorial Model. It is equivalent to the ABU Ambassador 5000 size.
It is the world's first reel equipped with a synchronizing drag.
The drag locks when the handle is turned clockwise, and loosens when the handle is turned slightly counter-clockwise, allowing for handling of large fish.
It's like a smaller Senator for smaller fish, equipped with a level wind from the Levelmatic.
Penn does not have an equivalent model, and this reel with a level wind is more modern and cooler than the Super Peer.
The catalog from that era states it is suitable for float fishing for small to medium-sized fish on rocky shores, float fishing, fishing for small to medium-sized fish from boats, and lure fishing.

Although it is clean, please consider it a junk item due to its age.
