For those just starting out with the shinobue, the 8-hole model is the optimal key for beginners.
Shinobue flutes that are accurately tuned and can be used for ensemble playing or collaborations with other instruments are expensive, so instructors create them themselves for their students.
This flute is beautiful and easy to play, even for those new to the shinobue.

Material: Shin-take bamboo (female bamboo) (dried for over 3 years and then heat-treated)
Holes: Interior coated with synthetic red lacquer (cashew)
Exterior: Coated with synthetic clear lacquer (cashew)
Wrapping thread: Brown
12g of lead is inserted inside the head joint for stability adjustment.
The reflector plate of the embouchure hole is made with wood putty to prevent melting even in summer heat.

Tuning is set to C major of the Western scale, matched to the upper register (2nd octave) with a tuner, allowing for ensemble and performance with other instruments.
The lower register (1st octave), upper register (2nd octave), and high register (3rd octave) can also be produced by adjusting breath strength.
