FUJI REEL FPR25 Modified with a Wooden Spool made of Quince Burl
This is a blackfin seabream reel with bearings.
The base FPR25 was modified from a new unit.
This is my personal opinion, but
I believe it is a wonderful piece with a very beautiful quince burl grain.
The spool was custom-made to just barely clear the stays.
It has been used on a few fishing trips since completion.
Maintenance is performed on the same day after each fishing trip.
There are no noticeable scratches.
Bearings are installed, but
it was made so that it would not spin with the weight of a lead shot.
The original box will be included, but
it will not fit inside, so the main unit will be packed separately.
