Hichiriki Reed Tongue "Kiwami"

These reeds are made from Udon-grown reeds, carefully selected for their high quality with an outer diameter of 11.5-12mm. After approximately 1.5 years of air-drying in the shade, they have been thoroughly smoked over a traditional Japanese hearth (irori) for over 10 years. This process ensures both durability and excellent sound quality. I believe my past reviews will attest to the quality of my reeds.

These reeds are finished with great care, allowing for a comfortable playing experience. They are designed to be playable immediately, even for beginners and women. However, please understand that they require a strong breath to produce sound. To achieve a beautiful resonance, it is essential to blow with full breath.
