Super Tomozo
Grandpa (Sakura Tomozo)
Maruko's grandpa.
He has a kind personality and loves Maruko so much that he tends to spoil her. He's a bit absent-minded, so sometimes Maruko can talk him into giving her pocket money with her clever words.
He might get a little down when that happens, but in the end, he always does things for Maruko. That's how strong the bond is between Maruko and Tomozo.
Also, when something happens, he sometimes secretly composes a haiku in his heart to express it. After composing a haiku, he usually concludes with the words Tomozo's Heart Haiku.
His favorite foods are Yudofu (boiled tofu), natto (fermented soybeans), and uni (sea urchin).
