Beautiful condition, high sound quality, fully serviced and working perfectly. Sony WM-2 Silver Walkman 2.
SONY Walkman WM-2, the second Walkman model released after the TPS-L2.
The exterior is in good condition for its age (personal opinion).
This is a fully functional item that has undergone essential overhaul for continued use, including cleaning of each part, restoration treatment, replacement of drive system parts, and sound adjustment.
Includes original holder and AA battery pack EBP-500.
High sound quality and very rare.
Minimal sound fluctuation or excessive noise, which is common with cassettes, is barely noticeable.
It produces powerful and excellent sound.
Basic internal and external cleaning, mechanical parts cleaning, reassembly, main belt replacement,
earphone jack cleaning, head cleaning and mirror finish, roller cleaning. Volume component cleaning. Motor restoration work.
Azimuth adjustment, speed adjustment.
All operations confirmed.
Playback, stop, fast forward, rewind, pause, auto shut-off.
Tape selector.
Long-term operation test, listening test.
Measuring instruments were used for speed adjustment, wow and flutter measurement, and azimuth adjustment.
Appropriate chemicals and oils were used during the repair process.
While there may be some remaining dirt that could not be removed, it is generally clean.
I would like to pass this on to someone who will cherish it.
Although it is a vintage item, you can enjoy its pleasant sound just like in its original era.
However, this is a private sale of used electronics (antiques).
Please refrain from purchasing if you require after-sales service or are overly sensitive.
If that is the case, please look for new products.
While I have no experience with shipping-related failures, in the unlikely event of a defect upon arrival, please contact me before leaving a review. I will definitely respond, so please rest assured.
