Description
This is a completed Elekit vacuum tube amplifier kit, model TU-883 (with EL34 installed).
The first stage uses a dual triode 12AX7, and the output stage is swappable. However, after testing various tubes such as KT88 and KT66 in the output stage, I settled on the Sovtek EL34 as it offered the best balance in terms of sound quality and heat generation.
The internal components have been inspected and maintained by a vacuum tube amplifier maintenance professional.
After swapping tubes, the usage time has not been extensive, and the getters on the top of the tubes are still plentiful, indicating they have plenty of life left.
- Condition
It was in use until recently and is in normal working order.
It has been handled with care, and while there are minor scratches, they are not noticeable.
To prevent damage, all three vacuum tubes will be removed and shipped separately. Please insert them before use.
Please provide a 3-pin power cable.
