High-Quality Go Board with Heso (Navel) - Approx. 7 Sun Thickness

[Product Condition]
Has a strong woody scent.
A very pleasant aroma, like cypress.

I took it to a specialty store in Tokyo for appraisal.
They couldn't definitively identify the wood, but said it didn't seem like genuine Kaya.
They were also unsure of the exact material.

However, they did say it's a rare and well-cared-for Go board, and that it's much older than the date written on the back.

There is one spot with a repaired knot.
They mentioned that such meticulous repair work is uncommon.
