Vintage Japanese Go Board with Legs, Approx. 17cm Thick, Includes Stones and Bowls, 18x18 Grid, Natural Wood
Includes a Paulownia Wood Lid

This Go board weighs approximately 15kg, making it exceptionally heavy and stable.
This leg-style Go board was custom-ordered and purchased in Miyazaki about 59 years ago.
It is said to be made of Kaya wood, but please examine the images for details before considering your purchase.
The wood grain is fine and uniformly dense, with wave-like growth rings packed tightly. Although aged, it retains a faint natural wood aroma.
