This manual only contains information that we are confident will catch eels if the conditions are right.
Recommended for children and beginners. This is a rig that does not require a fishing rod or sinker; it uses small stones as sinkers, making it easier to carry than rigs with attached sinkers.
It is especially convenient when you have many items to carry, such as for camping, or when setting up many rigs.
Rivers and lakes have plenty of small stones, so setting up the rigs doesn't take much time.
When leaving the rig overnight, eels often grab the bait and escape into their holes, making them difficult to catch. However, by increasing the size of the sinker stone, you can prevent them from moving with the bait. This band can accommodate larger stones. The line is wound about 8-9m. Fishing line would break, but this thread is a braided line that is resistant to abrasion from rocks and other surfaces. It is also durable and does not absorb water easily, making maintenance easy. We use size 13 eel hooks, and the line from the hook to the sinker is 12-gauge steel gray camouflage color, which is difficult to see underwater. It is resistant to abrasion and has good wear resistance, making it suitable for larger fish. We have specific preferences for the color and shape of the hooks and lines, sourced from our secret methods rather than general suppliers, so we cannot disclose further details.
Eels are surprisingly found everywhere.
Simply cast the rig to the desired spot and secure it with wood or stones to prevent it from being carried away or drifting.
Even if it does drift, the reel is made of buoyant material and is a highly visible white color, so it is not easily lost. This rig has been improved and refined every year.
