↓ Quoted from where the beads were purchased:
These are tungsten beads for fly tying with a slit specification.
They can be used with regular hooks, of course, but when combined with crank shank hooks, they optimize the underwater posture and hook point direction of the finished fly.
When inserting the hook from the slit side, it goes in easily, and the center of gravity becomes lower upon completion, making it easier to achieve stability underwater.
Comes in packs of 30 (4.6mm has 25 pieces, 5.1mm & 5.6mm have 20 pieces, 6.4mm has 15 pieces, 7.1mm has 10 pieces, 8.0mm has 6 pieces).

(Weight per bead: 2.0mm: 0.05g, 2.3mm: 0.11g, 2.8mm: 0.20g, 3.3mm: 0.31g, 3.8mm: 0.47g, 4.6mm: 0.72g, 5.1mm: 0.96g, 5.6mm: 1.30g, 6.4mm: 1.93g, 7.1mm: 2.58g, 8.0mm: 3.81g)
