Main Features

High-performance step-up transformer with special winding structure

By winding low-loss, thick copper wire (primary 0.32φ, secondary 0.12φ) around a large EI core made of 0.2mm thick 78% super permalloy core material, we have achieved industry-leading low-frequency linearity and high-efficiency step-up (low loss), resulting in a sound full of vitality across the entire frequency range.

The winding structure, which was previously considered difficult to achieve without manual labor, has been realized in a mass-produced model with our proprietary special split winding structure. This achieves excellent phase characteristics over a wide frequency range. This drastically reduces phase distortion within the audible range, resulting in clearer sound image localization.

Achieves a fully balanced input stage

When a cartridge generates a signal, signals with opposite phases flow through both ends of the coil, which is a balanced (push-pull) operation. Transmitting this via an unbalanced connection not only significantly compromises the benefits of a balanced system but also allows external noise to affect sound quality.

While the T-500 achieves high sound quality even with conventional unbalanced phono cables, using balanced phono cables minimizes transmission loss and further enhances sound quality.
