Vintage Daytona Beach Japan Duck Chick Hatching Egg Salt Pepper Shakers

This is a charming vintage (1950's-1960's) ceramic salt and pepper shaker set made in Japan. The set features a delightful hatching theme, including one shaker shaped like a yellow duckling emerging from an eggshell with Daytona Beach written on the front of one of them, and a matching shaker shaped like a white egg with a tiny yellow chick peeking out. Both shakers are in excellent, unused collector's condition and come complete with their original bottom stoppers. Each piece is marked Japan on the base. They measure approximately 2 inches tall by 1 and 3/4 inches wide. This set makes an excellent addition to any novelty shaker collection or a unique piece of mid-century Florida tourism memorabilia. Please see photos for exact condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing.
